Is there any extra credit available on any classes at either UCLA or UC Berkeley?

Is extra credit in class banned throughout both Universities or is it allowed depending on the course and teacher?|||There's no such thing as extra credit at a university, if a professor does give in, then thats because the class is doing horrible and they want to make themselves look better or make their students feel better.
