It means that you can't use the card or it is inactive. Many card companies do close account for inactivity. If you want to know more about this account, you will have to contact the company itself using the information you have on your credit report.
That is another good thing about checking your credit report regularly, it limits the amount of surprises you find as well as alerting you to possible theft.|||more than likely they closed it due to inactivity. they do have to notify you and i'm sure if you contact them they will tell you they mailed out notice. once its in the mail, its in the postmans hands though and they have no way to know if you got it.
