Is it worth it to keep a credit card available credit at its max?

I had an outstanding balance, and wanted to pay the bill, so instead I accidently only transfered money from savings to credit to keep the available credit back at $800 again. Is there an advantage to doing that? I bank online.|||yes. of course.

No credit card interest or fees.

you are a winner.|||If it was me I would cut up my credit card and apply for a Visa debit card so I could use it to buy online, by phone or if I had not enough cash on me at the time, pay with it, as in Eftpos.

I think the cost of credit will go through the roof soon,it's better to access what you have , rather than use credit.|||If you pay off the outstanding balance in full, then you don't get charged interest so you are saving money by doing this. If you were to only pay the minimum amount or a lesser amount, you would be charged interest and it may become more difficult to pay off the card or take longer to pay it off.
