Can I withdraw money from my available credit to pay this months same creditcard bill?

lets say i have a $2000 credit card this months bill is $500 can i with draw 500 from the remaining 1500 to pay off the bill?|||I'd say you can if you want to dig yourself a bigger hole than you seem to be in now. The interest rate on cash withdrawals is usually higher than for purchases. Unless you know you will have the funds to pay off your credit card next month - and that's KNOW - I would not do it.

If you are have trouble with impulse buying, leave your card at home; then you can make purchases after you weigh the cost of credit.

Good luck.|||Only if you get a cash advance.|||you can if the card let's you take cash advances, I would strongly advise against it. There are additional fees and it will sometimes put you in a higher finance charge bracket, if you have to take money of the card to pay the card you probably should talk to someone about getting your finances in order before it is too late.|||Not that I know of. AND why would you want to? You'll just be spending more money you don't have to pay off a bill that you may not have the money for now. It would be a never ending cycle of debt. A credit card is not money so don't think of it like it is.|||Yes but it isn't smart to do it. You'll pay higher interest on the cash advance.|||I think you can but, when you withdraw money from credit card they will charge you 3% of withdrawal amount and also impose interest from the day 1. That means if you withdraw $500 dollars from your credit card, you will be charged $15 immediately(3%) and they will start imposing interest from the day 1 and interest rates would be lot higher(about 24.99% APR or more). Please refer to your credit card agreement.

I recommend you to pay the minimum amount on your credit card and pay the rest in the next month so that your interest charges will be lesser.
