Are prepaid credit cards available to South African residents?

Are prepaid credit cards available to South African residents? In the Australian and New Zealand region we can purchase a prepaid card from a post office or newsagent, purchase an amount of credit that we would like to load on to it, and then use it in any credit card facility - online or offline. This is a credit card that is not connected to a bank account. I was wondering if South Africa had something similar.|||I did some searching for you try this site.

There is a US-based company you can use to send an ATM card to anyone in South Africa. If they have a sender in the US, Atmcash.com will be able to send the ATMCASH card to the recipient in S.A. and the recipient can withdraw the money at any ATM.
